1 Year Since Graduation – Celebration!
Today marks one year, one week, and one day since I graduated with a Masters Degree in Games Design at Teesside University!
It’s been such an eventful year of great opportunities, such as:
– Taking an internship with Northrak, developing a grappling hook feature for their platforming project “Close To Flight”
– Passing my driving test first time
– Completing a Game Design bootcamp with INFINITY27, developing a quest and level in the world of their upcoming Soulslike title “Samsara”
– Taking on a mentorship with 🎮 Hamish Williams through Limit Break Mentorship, helping me to further improve my Unreal Engine skills
– Starting a part time Administrative Assistant position at R. Bau Ltd this week (Talk about a buzzer beater!)
All on top of gigs with the band, game jams, and a small personal game project that I’ll hopefully be able to share soon!
I don’t know what the next year is going to bring, but I’m going to make the most of it and try to keep the momentum going! I’m still looking for Unreal Engine game design positions or freelance music composition work, so please get in touch if you like what you see on my portfolio!
